Horizon Cameras
Four high resolution cameras watch the northern, eastern, southern and the western horizon and stream their pictures 24/7. The cameras have high resolution (4K) and sensitivity, large field of view (roughly 90° times 45°) and produce one frame per second. Hence, various sky phenomena can be observed, such as clouds, halo effects, constellations, meteors, noctilucent clouds or northern lights.
All-sky Camera
The all-sky camera positioned on the roof of the observatory shows the whole sky with the field of view of almost 180°. The image is updated once per minute. After midnight, a timelapse is automatically generated from the pictures from the previous day.
